CDBIO (Benxi) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liaoning Cheng Da Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (CDBIO). It was incorporated in November 2021 in the registered address of Benxi High-tech Industrial Development Area. The factory covers an area of 218,000 square meters, with a building area of 116,000 square meters. The fixed-asset investment exceeds 1.5 billion yuan in Benxi. Currently, there are nearly 600 employees in CDBIO (Benxi). The company is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to vaccine development, manufacturing and sales.

 

The company has established high standard and modernized vaccine production base, and has been equipped with advanced production facility and test instruments. It has also built vaccine R&D center and the large-scale pilot platform focusing on the research and industrialization of viral vaccines, bacterial vaccines, genetically engineered vaccines, conjugated vaccines, and multivalent and combined vaccines, etc.

 

CDBIO (Benxi)'s product pipeline includes Rabies Vaccine (Human Diploid Cell) for Human Use, Freeze-dried (HDCV), Influenza Vaccine (Split Virion) and 20-valent Pneumococcal Vaccine, etc.

Manufacturing Process

 

It covers 20 different serotypes of pathogenic pneumococcal strains commonly found in China with a broader protection range. With safety and environmentally friendly design concepts and advanced technical method, it adopts diphtheria toxin avirulent mutant CRM197 protein as the polysaccharide-binding carrier and perform the glycoprotein binding by amino reduction method with good stability. The vaccine shows excellent stability and immunogenicity in the clinical study, ensuring the better safety and immunogenicity.
